Training and Education

Inclusive learning that delivers
real-world impact
Inclusion is often treated as an optional extra. In reality, inclusive design improves quality, engagement and outcomes for everyone.
For example, adding subtitles to video content doesn’t just support people with hearing impairments, it can increase views by up to 40% and completion rates by 80%.
When services, learning environments and programmes are designed inclusively from the outset, everyone benefits.
INSIDE EU
We design and deliver tailor-made inclusion training and learning programmes that help schools, colleges, universities, organisations and communities move from intention to action.
Our work supports clients to design equitable services, inclusive environments and accessible systems that improve engagement, quality and outcomes for everyone.
We work across education (early years to higher education), commerce and industry, justice and public services, health and therapeutic supports, and youth, community and social work.
Drawing on decades of experience in EU-funded projects and frontline practice, we translate research, evidence and lived experience into practical learning that strengthens everyday decision-making, policies and organisational culture.

Our Programmes
Community Inclusion
A Rights-Based Approach to Inclusion
INSIDE EU delivers community programmes and inclusion services designed to support people experiencing social exclusion, disadvantage and barriers to participation. Our work is grounded in a rights-based approach that focuses on creating shared, inclusive environments where people from different backgrounds, abilities and experiences can participate and achieve together.
Rather than separating people into narrow target groups, we apply universal design principles and evidence-based methodologies to create accessible learning and community experiences that work for everyone.
All services are designed and delivered by people with lived experience of disability, disadvantage and marginalisation, ensuring our work remains relevant, practical and community-led.
The 4E Roadmap to Inclusion
Our community programmes are structured around the 4E Roadmap:
Eudaimonia (Wellbeing)
Empowerment
Education
Employment & Entrepreneurship
The 4E Roadmap recognises that people experiencing exclusion often face multiple interconnected barriers to participation, wellbeing, education and employment. Different individuals may require support at different stages of this journey towards greater inclusion, independence and participation in society.
This framework underpins all INSIDE EU community programmes and inclusion methodologies.
Our Community Programmes
INSIDE EU has designed, piloted and delivered a range of community-focused programmes that now form the foundation of our inclusion service model.
